Buzzards roost is extremely excited to introduce our very first bourbon expression: barrel strength straight bourbon whiskey. Distilled in Indiana and aged 4-6 years before bottling, this expression is created from two distinct rye based mash bills.
The color is a very deep amber and this bourbon is heavy enough to hold up to the most flavorful cocktails, yet light enough to be enjoyed as an elegant sipper straight out of the bottle.
The nose is big and characteristic of whiskey way beyond its age statement. The palate gives way to an explosion of sweetness, and the finish is a perfect marriage of structure and heat.
