This year s botanical special guest is Woodruff, aka Galium Odoratum, aka The Master Of The Forest or quite simply Waldmeister as we call it in the Black Forest.
Woodruff can be found in the woods around here from mid-April. Their small, white buds start blossoming in early May, and bristle-covered fruits form around the beginning of September.
