The Reese Slouchy Beanie is a men s hat designed in collaboration with James Cox Knits. You can learn more about James Cox Knits here. Since James first began to design, he has focused on menswear (being a gent himself). The Reese Slouchy Beanie is a seed stitch hat knit in the round. It uses 2 strands of yarn to achieve a relaxed stripe effect. If you want to learn to do seed stitch or knit in the round, this is a great project for you. Â
It s designed with OHM Limited Edition Farm Alpaca sourced by James himself. It s produced from a small flock of Ohio alpacas. The OHM alpacas are treated with care and come from champion breeding. Each color is sourced from one alpaca s fleece, and the color is named after the alpaca. No dyes or chemical processing is used. Each skein is 100% Huayaca alpaca fleece, and they are processed in a small mill.

Our Row House Tutorial Design integrates our skills videos via hotlinks in the PDF to teach you how to do seed stitch, knit in the round and close up a hat. You should be comfortable knitting and purling before making this beanie.Â
