The Lee Tie is Row House s first menswear design, and our first collaboration with James Cox Knits. You can learn more about James Cox Knits here. Since James first began to design, he has focused on menswear (being a gent himself). The Lee Tie is a casual garter stitch tie – it s great with jeans or casual pants. The tie s finished dimensions are 2 1 4 wide at the widest point, 50 long.
It s designed with Flying Goat Farm s Mo Paca yarn in brown. Mo Paca is a limited batch yarn blended from Flying Goat Farm s brown mohair goats and a neighboring farm s alpaca fleece, all in Maryland. No dyes or chemicals are used to process the fiber. The fiber is processed at a small mill to allow the fiber to be treated gently, so you may find that it has more natural character (and a bit of hay here or there) than fiber processed at an industrial mill.
Mo Paca is only available in the Lee Tie Kit.
